Family Weekend

We were lucky to have lots of family come visit for Cody's big day. My mom and dad, Ben's parents, Jessi and Amy and her kids were able to come.
One day was spent at Newport just enjoying the beach and sunshine.
These guys love playing together!!

Random Sand Sculptures

All babies love chasing the birds more than anything else on the beach. I love it!

Blake and Cody did not care at all that the water was freezing!

It rained but we still made it over to a covered park Sunday morning.
Our cute house can only hold little people for so long!
Pavion Park is a new awesome park

As I drove away from the airport drop offs I kind of laughed at the irony...
the clouds were moving left
and to my left the sky was FULL of clouds and to my right the sky was crystal CLEAR as the storm finished passing through
which means you should all come back soon:)

Bee is for Baptism

February 28, 2015
Cody was baptized a member of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

It was so fun to have friends from the ward baptized on the same day.
Abbie, Cody, Tanner, and Weston.

Bee is for Baptism:
Cody had baseball practice that morning before his baptism (he was quite the celebrity with his dad, sisters, aunts, cousins, grandmas and grandpas watching) and while he was in the field a bee stung him on his neck!
One of the sisters of each family sang "When I Am Baptized" at the baptism. Macey was the youngest by far, but she did a great job singing!
The first line says "I like to look for rainbows whenever there is rain."
I didn't catch any pictures of rainbows that day, but there was rain earlier, and some cool clouds when we came out.
A little of Cody's baptism water was straight from the River Jordan!
Cody's Grandpa Jeff spoke on baptism. He brought some special water - water from the River Jordan from their recent trip to Israel and the same river Jesus was baptized in - and he put it in the font.

I asked Cody what his favorite parts of the day were and he told me they were getting baptized and getting the blessing to get the gift of the holy ghost.

We went to Panera Bread after to celebrate:
We are so grateful for our amazing family who came to be with Cody on such a big milestone in his life and we are thankful for your support!

He's on the path and headed up!
