Hike and Halloween Adventures

I drug my kids on a hike. They loved it at the end:)
I really hope they learn to enjoy hiking, because we're going to do more of it.
It turned out to be a pretty long ways to the waterfall, but we made it!!

We went to Pack Farms pumpkin patch in Farmington the day before Halloween with the Larsen cousins and Oakley (and Jessi, Amy and Bonnie).

And of course, Pumpkin Carving.

We ran a little race in Farmington called the Mayan Miracle. It's a fundraiser for housing projects in Mexico. There's a raffle for someone to win a humanitarian trip there and Bonnie always puts tons of tickets in. They kind of know the organizers and think it's an awesome organization.
Anyway, Cody won the race for kids! It's a 5k and he was pretty thrilled and got a macabre skull trophy.
I ended up getting third place overall for women and they gave me a $40 gift card to a shoe store, which was awesome since I needed new running shoes. I was shocked too, because I was running it to pace Cody and help him and wasn't really even trying. I guess it pays just to enter!

Right after the race he went to his last flag football game.

Gardner Village/Fall Fun

We went to Gardner Village and had so much fun walking around and visiting their little pumpkin patch. The kids especially loved the giant inflatable.

Macey wrote these for me for my birthday. How cute is she?!

I can't remember the question I was discussing with my family, but I was trying to sort out my thoughts and sometimes I do better writing it down. Although I don't think this is correct. They weren't "good" (or bad) in the garden because they couldn't be either without choice.
 Happy Fall!
This is my favorite seasonal pasta at Trader Joe's. It's in the shape of little pumpkins. Ben doesn't love it because he says there's too much in a bite. But he is just afraid of carbs if you ask me:)

Pheasants and Mountain Drives

More, please.
Cody is discovering the joy of hunting.
It's an awesome way for Ben, Grandpa Jeff and him to spend time together.
And we can't forget Bo, one of Cody's favorites.

This was probably a highlight of our fall season last year (at the time I'm writing this a year later).
We squished into Bonnie and Jeff's side by side and drove up Farmington Canyon.

The kids were a little squished angry, let's call it squangry.
The first SNOW Cody touched this year. He was super excited.

 Such a pretty valley.
We drove up to the towers. I love these towers because it's the view from my parents house and marks their mountain.

A couple more pictures of Doug Bug.
