Girls' Trip St. George

When I was pregnant we went to San Francisco, and now that Amy's pregnant and getting closer to being due ! we went to St. George! We saw Les Mis and The Sound of Music at Tuacahn Theater. We also went shopping, scrapbooked, swam and hung out! I never thought I liked scrapbooking, but I decided if every tool you could ever want to scrapbook is sitting in front of you, it's actually pretty fun...maybe in 20 years I'll buy all the supplies, but thanks to Jessi (Bonnie) for letting me use theirs. My mom watched Cody while we were gone. While it was so nice to come back to him, I did enjoy a little break!
As soon as Jessi and Amy post pictures I'll steal theirs, but for now I could only steal Carly's picture of our trip-I am so bad at taking pictures. Thanks guys:)

It's a Girl!

We just found out today at our ultrasound that we're having a girl! The ultrasound technician pointed out that she was very active and when I said I was hoping for a calm little baby she said sorry not this time! Either way, we are so excited and glad that she is a healthy baby. Hopefully I'll be able to get ultrasound pics up, but for now this is my expanding belly:)
To see a cute little video of Cody laughing nonstop check out the Crosland's blog.

Wii Champions

This is the Wii Olympics where you have to shake the paddles back and forth to run. They're doing the 100 meter dash. Ben kept on losing until he had Cody join his team. Then, they not only won, they SMOKED their competition. In this video though, Cody is so excited that he stops running!

We're Back!

We just got the internet this morning...and 11 channels of tv. I told Ben last night that it had been fun talking to him after work and I would miss it now that we'll have tv-joking of course:) Actually I'm really looking forward to watching So You Think You Can Dance tonight. Updates for June are below and July-we had such a fun 4th. I love the 4th! It was actually a little bit cooler than any 4th I remember, but it was still a nice day. We went to the Barnes for a pancake breakfast and then went to Boyer Park for the day. There's a little cove area in the river that is fairly shallow and a little warmer that we played in. After Boyer Park, we went to the Christensen's for a barbeque and watched the fireworks in their backyard, they looked like they were being shot right next door they were really close!

We are finally in our new apartment! There is so much space! My mom basically single handedly moved us in, I don't know how she does it. On Saturday when we moved the furniture it just took the guys 2 hours to completely move it and all the rest of our stuff was already over and put away.

Me and Cody went with Ben to work last week. The bottom left picture is of Ben doing an ultrasound on a horse. All I can say is I am SO grateful that we do not have to get ultrasounds done like that! It was pretty cool to see everything they can do. There are quite a few horses, around 80, that they are working with. Cody absolutely loved it but was disappointed that he couldn't ride them:)

Purdy Week

This was a fun, busy week! Monday we went to Jungle Jim's Playland. Cody loved every ride so much he would cry when we would take him off to go to the next one. He especially loved the Jeeps since he is now Obsessed with anything big with wheels.

Tuesday- Cherry Hill!!! This is Cody, my mom and Micah, Steph and Clayton, and me and Cody (in the lazy river where he fell asleep soon after).
Wednesday - Hogle Zoo! I think the kids loved the animals, but Cody honestly thought the construction equipment was pretty cool. He loved the elephants!

On Thursday my talented cousin Michelle took pictures of Clayton and Cody at Thanksgiving Point in the gardens. She is starting a business called Little Dreamer Photo (more pictures to come).

Thanks mom, we had such a fun week!!! It was so good to see everyone!!

We can't wait to see you all again soon:)!

Lake Powell

Lake Powell was so relaxing and so much fun! The water was still a little cold so we didn't get in as much (I got in once because I fell in) but the temperature outside was perfect. The pictures above are Ben wakeboarding and tube wars. Me and Cody went tubing twice, once we were pulled under the water (the once I got in the water-it wasn't that bad!). He liked it! Every time we got on the boat Cody went to sleep within 5 minutes.

Cody loved driving the boats!
Sleeping...I wish it was always this easy for him to fall asleep!

This is the whole group minus Jeff taking the picture. Our theme this year was "We Believe"
This is The Island. Perfect place to get a tan.
Cody and the captain:) He had so much fun with his grandpa.

I had one of the most relaxing weeks ever. Cody had about 15 of the best babysitters at any time of the day! These were some of his favorites:) in our matching cover ups from Amy!
