We went and did fun things around the booming metropolis of Pullman:), but the sweetest things for me were getting an extra 15 minutes of sleep (maybe a 1/2 hour...I don't even know:)) while my mom read books with my early risers, making dinner together-without the rest of the house being torn apart, watching movies after the kids went to sleep, and just chatting.
I guess these last two weeks were kind of selfish, because again some of my favorite things were going for runs, reading a whole book, and watching my kids play with their grandparents. I really regret not getting a picture (I'm horrible lately) of Cody watching movies with his papa. Cody sits right up on his lap in their chair. We were able to go to the beach, and fly a kite, and to Cabela's. They Loved seeing the animals and fish. The day we came back home was a horrible day, partly because Cody wouldn't stop crying that grandma and grandpa didn't come home with us!
The only downer was that Cody and Macey were sick the whole time we had visitors. This is not the most articulate way to say it, but it really is wonderful having grandparents who are as interested in your kids as you are. That's one of the reasons I started this blog...they like to see what their grandchildren are up to! Thanks for spoiling us!
