This is the temperature at 10:00 at night (95) and it's really blurry, but also the forecast for the hottest week this year. It's 109, 112, 112, 110, 109, 108. Crazy! We've been great, just staying indoors, and if we're outside, we're in the pool! Luckily, we got rain yesterday, a huge blessing.
Our washer and dryer is in the garage and I just left our laundry to bake because I couldn't go roast to get it out. Our garden is starting to die because it's so hot I can't motivate myself to go outside to water it multiple times a day. My body just hurts. I am walking around like I am going to fall apart and I look like I'm going to burst at any moment. Don't get me wrong, I'm not always crying about it. More like AMAZED that I moved to the hottest state in the country while I am 9 months pregnant and still alive. It's incredible.
Any indoor summer ideas?
And I couldn't post this without once again blessing our AC. Thank you thank you thank you. And we don't have to pay utilities. Double thanks.
And I'm not sure why this pregnancy is different, but Ben is strangely more sympathetic to my pains this time around. I really don't know why-no school stress, older, more children and experience. No idea. The other day he gave me a massage for an hour because I literally couldn't walk and it made me feel 100% better. And then I felt like making dinner so it worked out for both of us:) But how sweet is that? He's great. And working a TON lately.

Oh man that sounds horrible.. I am so glad you have A.C.!Good Job Ben!That's great to get a back massage-You deserve to be pampered right now:)umm some indoor ideas.. you could put up a small kiddie pool and put toys in it, ...have the kids play in the tub like a pool, or have a pool movie/naps?...make your own popsicle's like with kool-aid and fruit....anyways,hope that helps:)I'm sorry about your garden, wouldn't it be nice to have sprinklers you could set timers on. Good luck with your baby! You are such a trooper!
That is so sweet of Ben. I feel so bad for you pregnant and how hot it is. That why I plan to not ever be pregnant in the summer. We will see how that works out for me :)
You are a champ Carrie! I don't think I'd be able to handle it. We miss you!!
I am so sad to hear that you are hurting! Hot summers are never a fun thing when pregnant. You are amazing. I cannot wait to see pictures of the new little one. Macey seems to be growing by the pictures. Ayla still asks about Cody-and misses him.
*props to ben for the massage :)
You poor girl! I cannot believe how hot it is there!! It is finally starting to feel like summer here, finally! I'm so excited for you to have that little baby!!
I think it is really funny that you would use a dryer when it is 109 degrees outside. The clothes probably dry slower inside than out.
We miss you!
