Land of Legos

We LOVE visitors!
She came with spoils...have you ever seen a Nerds box that big?
The kids had school and soccer and we went to Cinnamon Productions - yum!
Then, we decided to ditch school on Friday and go to Legoland!
This is the perfect time to go...no lines and great temperatures.
While the girls dug in the dinosaur dig, Cody and I went on the dinocoaster.
We also went on a lego car roller coaster and Macey enthusiastically ran up with us...and then just as enthusiastically burst into tears as we neared the front. So she opted out on that one, but it did have a pretty intense drop so I'm sure she's glad she didn't go. Maybe next year.
At lunch Cody sat back in his chair and gave a satisfied smile and said, "So this is what it's like to miss school."
I can guarantee if you were to ask Macey what one of her favorite parts of Legoland was she would tell you "Root Beer."
It just makes her so happy.
We took a boat ride through miniland.
The Eiffel Tower is made of 120,000 legos.
NYC and SD
Just past Pier 39 with the little barking seals is the row of cute victorian houses in San Francisco!

This little stinker INsisted that she drive the boat. She's not good at all, no surprise.
After a fun filled day of Legos we got to go to an arena to watch Ben team sort. It was so fun to watch! There's something about the kids playing in the dirt and a bunch of cowboys (even if they are californians) that makes me happy. I didn't grow up around cowboys, but I married one, and it just feels like home.
I love when little babies love babies. This little girl was just patting Mackayla like she was an infant.
Ben, Bonnie and the kids headed to The Wedge Saturday morning while I had to stay and write my talk:). I spoke on Sunday.
Then Cody had a soccer game. I think he was so happy to have his grandma watching him. He skipped around the field almost the whole time unless he was running for the ball. Sometimes he was in a little neverland world picking daisies and sometimes he was right in the game going all out. Such a cute little guy.

We even got to go to the Newport Temple. Thanks for babysitting!
She found the girls the cutest little chevron skirts at swiss days...
I love swiss days- I think I'm going to start saving to go next year!
Come again soon grandma Bonnie!!

She really is the best! Sometimes Minot really sucks- like no one ever ever wants to come see us, and to be honest we would rather them donate the money to us getting out of here then them coming. Hahaha... But really. There's definitely no legoland of any sorts to attract visitors!

That sounds really negative, it was meant to be humorous. Because once you live here a while, it really is funny. Haha. Anyway! Grandma Bonnie is the BEST! And we miss you guys! I'm already counting down to California in February!!!
