The Messiah is going to be broadcast livestream on April 18 at 6:30 pm (my time) by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on their website!
Macey told me if we get a dog we can name it Indie. If we get a cat we can name it Hobbit. Unless it's mean, then we will name it Shadow and it will like Macey's Shadow (stuffed cat). Those are the names of her grandparent's pets. We're real original over here.
Cody is playing baseball, and he loves it! But I'm pretty sure he will love whatever we throw his way. I actually did not mean for that to be a pun but there you go. He is doing dang good especially considering most of the other boys have played for three years together and this is his first year.

I have been way lax about potty training Mackayla. Like I might never do it. She always poops in the toilet. But lately she has been potty training herself. Sweet! It's not perfect, but if I had ten more children I would wait until they were 10 to potty train them:) or at least 3. When Macey was Mackayla's age I was expecting her to go by herself. Wha? That's not even fair. No wonder she had so many accidents. I'll call it tired mother syndrome.
We listened to our favorite brave song a week or two ago and then I asked Cody and Macey what they could do to be brave. It's so cheesy, honestly, but that song pumps you up to do something you wouldn't normally do. They thought about it and I told Macey I thought it would be brave if she volunteered in primary. She hates when they call on her and she never goes up. I think it's because she doesn't like not knowing what they want her to do. But she's not shy. I had totally forgotten about it, but sure enough, on Sunday, she volunteered not once, but twice, to go up in primary and loved it. I was so proud of her!
She has adopted a new way of racing, instead of the last one is a rotten egg, it's the first one there is a fresh egg. I don't know where she gets this?
Today I accidentally locked us out of the house.
Well, first I had smashed Macey's fingers in the door and then grabbed her ice and switched strollers to the double stroller so she could ice her fingers on the way to school.
And forgot the keys.
After silently snickering about the kids wondering if we would starve to death and Cody eating his peanut butter granola bar (that he didn't dare eat during lunch because he would be banished to the peanut butter table) we went on a walk. Shouldn't there be a peanut butter free table, not a peanut butter table? It fits with the mentality of the nation I guess. Anyway. Mackayla didn't even have shoes. Oh well!
Tonight as I asked the kids what their favorite part of the day was they all mentioned picking oranges together on our walk. It was a blessing to be locked out of the house. What is more important than those kiddos?

We went to Disneyland this week - California Adventure.
(The kids and I - we'll get Ben there soon!)
The Happiest Place on Earth!!
These are TERRIBLE quality pictures, but they are priceless still.
As the ride was starting and before she realized this was the funnest ride on earth...
And before the ride not yet aware of the pure joy awaiting
I feel a little bad admitting I don't like Bug's Land. The rides are so boring.
Clearly not to kids though!
During the parade Macey told me that she was certain that the reason Roz from Monsters Inc was not happy was because she did not like twirling that baton.
First time on the Mickey Wheel
Happy week!
