The first thing we did was Pirate Training to become Pirates
So we got our pirate names and apparel/mustaches
Found the Treasure in a treasure hunt
and Shot the cannons aka water balloons
WHAT'S In a NAME~
Pirate names were based on the first initial of your first, middle and last names. Macy and Mackayla had the same name and it turned out to be "Dead Man Jackson," perfect for two little girls. When Macey found out that was her name she burst into tears. I let her choose another name and she chose "Jolly Rancher Jackson." So I didn't tell Mackayla just stuck on her name tag, told her she was cutie pie and figured she was none the wiser. But people kept coming up to her and saying "Dead Man Jackson!" She would get super stressed and ask me what her name was. So I stuck another name tag on her that said "Cutie Pie Jackson."
Later that week we were having a family wrestling match on the tube and Mackayla stopped and very seriously said, "Call me Rushmad." We went along with it, even though no one knew what inspired that. It's kinda catchy though:)
