Ben got home around 6:30 Friday night and got a call at 6:40 to see if he wanted two tickets to the monster truck rally in town. Thank you yes! I've wanted to take Cody to one since he started loving everything machine/engine operated. Mackayla and I enjoyed a quiet evening at home together while they headed out to the madness. I asked Ben to get tons of pictures and gave him quick instructions...we got one and the rest are 2 second videos! oops:) They really enjoyed it!
Cody's latest interest is space. With his birthday coming up I have VERY specific instructions on his cake-including 1) a planet, 2) a spaceship flying to the planet, and 3) a rocket. I have my work cut out. Good thing he doesn't expect perfection from me.
On the subject of driving though-the other day Cody brought me this little globe and told me to take it with me so I would know where I was going. Macey constantly asks me if I'm going the speed limit (just about every time we drive). She asked me today if I had my seatbelt on. If I say something like 'shoot' while I'm driving she will automatically ask me if I'm getting pulled over. I got pulled over a while ago (no ticket, phew!). Thanks for helping me out and keeping me in line kiddos.
