Visit: Amy, Blake and The Goose

Our adventure began by packing 5 kids and 2 adults into our minivan and driving to our house where we packed 5 kids, and 3 adults, into our small three bedroom home. The result was pure CHAOS, zero sleep, and pure FUN!!

The dynamics of the kids was so funny. Cody's response to all the chaos was to sing. Nonstop for 5 days. At the top of his lungs, about anything and everything he thought of.

Blake has the CUTEST little personality. She's got some spunk, but you miss it unless you pay attention because she does it covertly.

Macey thought that she was the victim in most scenarios of contention. Apparently to her it's totally normal to stick your feet in people's faces:).

We were going to go to the zoo the first day, but it was a little chilly so we went to the science museum instead, which is conveniently right next door.

We headed to the gymnastics area and Blake entertained us with an impromptu dance/gymnast routine:

We also all managed to get ready and head out the door for church on Sunday. I play the piano for primary. This last Sunday all the kids got to write down their favorite primary song and a few were chosen to sing. Blake was one of the lucky ones who got her paper chosen and we all sang "The Wheels on the Bus!" haha.

The height of the excitement must have been the night before they were leaving - last night - all the kids were in the bath 'painting' with colored shaving cream. thank you pinterest. I was putting Mackayla to sleep and Amy was taking care of Callie. There was some scuffling and Amy said the next thing she knew Cody had Macey in a choke hold and Blake was wacking her with a paint brush. No crying was had, just lots of fun, screaming and loud noise.

Ben took us all to get a tour of the Lazy E Arena with one of his internmates. Right now they have around 150 mares who are about to give birth. The stud fees for some of the nicest horses are around $30,000. They brought out Carona Cartel, who is a way nice horse, for us to see. We got to see a little colt who had been born an hour before we got there. He still hadn't stood up yet.
