Jog a Thon / Fairy Festival

Friday was the school's Jog a Thon/Fundraiser
It's a huge deal for the school. They have a dj and each grade runs for 20 or 30 minutes (with plenty of walking and water breaks:)) while parents cheer them on.

All the kids signed each other's shirts...but for a while Cody and his friend Roman walked around as "Landon."
Cute Macey ran the whole time (again, with water breaks!) at her own steady pace. I was proud of her!

They celebrated after the run and Mackayla got in on the action!
Macey went to an adorable birthday party where they got manicures and pedicures at a salon. Her nails are way prettier than mine;)
A sweet friend of ours here had "Tavi's Fairy Festival" in honor of their daughter, who they lost a little over three years ago to SMA. She had the most progressed stage which left her with no use of her muscles. As she got older she was able to get a computer where she could use her eyes to navigate. She could ask simple things such as "read me a book please." The money raised in the festival will likely go towards helping another child with this get a similar computer.
Ben was unfortunately on call that night, but of course the rest of us had to go support. It was an incredible festival and the kids absolutely loved it!
There were several little playhouses with volunteers inside reading books - Macey went to every single one and listened! It took a long time:)!
Cody immediately found all his friends.
He wore his SMA shirt to represent!
They eventually took us through all of the cute fairy houses. I was instructed to take pictures of all of them because it was their favorite part!

It was a great opportunity to support friends with such good hearts. There are some incredible people that live here.
