Maybe our neighbors are feeling like they have to hide now if they're walking their dogs because they are sure to be flagged down by Macey. Although some of them really look forward to their daily chats. Mackayla ran to the front door from the front lawn the other day and declared, "I want a dog."
Macey is loving it here. The other day at the pool she struck up a conversation with a random man and his baby. They chatted for a couple minutes and then she asked him if he knew where we lived. He said no. She told him our house number and asked if he knew where that was. He said no again. Undeterred, she persisted. She gave him a detailed description of our car and informed him "it's over there, so if you want to follow us home, you can." Love her friendliness.:) I will miss this cute innocence some day.
